In 2005, Camp Chamisall embarked on a building campaign to renovate and expand our facilities. The first major building campaign in years, this campaign is focused on 3 areas, Sewage, Recreation Facility and Cabins.
The first aspect of the campaign was completed in 2007 which resulted in a complete revamping of the sewage systems, bring Camp up to the current standards. The sewage systems will now support the growth of the facilities into the years to come, and resulted in a new large playing field on the north end of Camp.
The second aspect of the campaign commenced in 2007 and was completed in late 2009. The new Recreation Center was necessary to help extend the life of the existing dining facility and provide a in door space for these times we need to be inside. The Rec Center consists of a large gym, chapel, games room, program office and a tuck shop.
Personalized, engraved bricks will be placed in the Legacy Patio as an ongoing reminder of the part your gift has played in helping to Impact Lives and Build the Future.
Legacy Patio bricks can be used ...
- in memory of loved ones
- as gifts to friends and family
- as messages to future campers
- as reminders of significant decisions made at camp in the past
Funds raised from the Legacy Patio go towards the building costs of Chamisall’s new Recreation Centre, which provides a gymnasium, program office, chapel, games room and tuck shop.
Donation per brick is $100. If you'd like to give above and beyond that, please do so through our General Donation Fund. A tax receipt will be issued for the full amount of your donation.
