Happy New Year!
And with a new year, comes the promise of summer after a couple of months of winter and spring, and its summer that we get excited about! We have launched our summer camper registrations for 2016!
As in years previous, we are offering 8 weeks of camp, 3 weeks for Elementary aged campers, 4 weeks for Junior High and 1 week for senior high. Camper fees for 2016 remain unchanged at $425 and include transportation to and from camp, meals (and they are good!), accommodations and lots of activities! Sign up any time! If your child would like to be a cabin mate with another camper, but sure to record this request with your child's registration. As in years past, flexible payment options are available.

Camp Chamisall is one of a very few organizations that operates completely on volunteers. Our staff volunteer applications will launch in February. Would you consider volunteering this year? We will need about 260 volunteers this year ranging from individuals in the cabin that can look after a cabin of campers, talking to them about life and spiritual matters; individuals in the kitchen preparing awesome meals for staff and campers; individuals in the role of maintenance helping to keep things functioning for all; individuals that can help in the area of program and activities. Prayerfully consider if God is asking you to volunteer this year.
Camp Chamisall was blessed in December with several donations. Thank you! Donations are extremely important to us and allow us to continue on in the ministry that God as called us to. We know that for many this year, finances will be challenging. As a ministry, we know that for many kids camp is a haven and something that they look forward to each year. Would you consider making a donation to our campership fund to help send a child to camp this year?
As with any ministry, we thrive on prayer. Please pray for the ministry of Camp Chamisall; for its Board as they make decision regarding the ministry; for our volunteers, that God's people would answer His call to serve; for the safety of the facility; and of course for the campers.
Blessing on you!
